Meet Dr. Daniel Andreas Fink, the newest member of the Volpi family! As a Senior System Engineer, Daniel will oversee the technical product development of opto-mechatronic modules.
His journey in optics is nothing short of impressive, having ignited during his time at CERN. There, he delved into the world of laser spectroscopy on exotic atoms and emerged with a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Heidelberg.
Daniel’s quest for knowledge led him to a CERN postdoctoral fellowship, where he explored the intricacies of plasma spectrometry. Post-CERN Daniel gained 7 years of experience leading product development in the medical startup scene, where he has been at the forefront of pioneering accelerator systems for proton cancer therapy.
