We are pleased to announce that Alessandra has joined the Volpi Group as an Optical Engineer. Alessandra comes to us from PSI, where she was an integral part of the beamline optics group. Her work involved metrology for X-ray optics, which covered a range of responsibilities, including measurements, process enhancements, tool development, and data evaluation. She also played a key role in developing vision systems for the beamlines.
Before her time at PSI, Alessandra accumulated extensive experience in the laser industry. She was involved in developing products from the initial research and development stages through their final transition to manufacturing and contributed to customer support.
Alessandra holds an M.Sc in Engineering Physics from the Politecnico di Milano, specializing in Optics and Photonics. Her extensive academic and professional background in optics and photonics makes her a valuable addition to our team as we continue to advance in our innovative projects.
